When should I schedule my maternity session?
The best time for your maternity session is when you're between 32 & 36 weeks pregnant, to ensure that you're far enough along to have a nice round baby bump.
When are newborn sessions scheduled?
Newborn sessions are scheduled between 9 am & noon as babies tend to be the most sleepy and content during the morning.
What does the newborn session fee include?
The session fee includes a session prep guide with tips on choosing a outfits, preparing your home for your session, what to do the day of the session, & more. It also includes a complimentary wardrobe consultation (optional) and your session time. It does NOT include any images.
What's the best time of day for our maternity session?
The light is best for outdoor photo locations 1-2 hours before sunset, or during the first few hours of the morning. If you have small children, they often are at their best in the morning. I am flexible with session times, so if the morning or the last couple hours of the evening don't work for your family, just let me know and we'll find a time that does.
Do you pose babies?
No. I do lifestyle newborn photography, which uses your home as the backdrop and focuses on capturing the natural connections between your new baby and your family.
When will our gallery be ready?
You will receive a link to an online gallery with all your best images within 2-3 weeks.
Do you provide props?
No, but I encourage you to include items that are special to you. For maternity sessions, ultrasound pictures, a onesie, or baby booties are favorite props. Newborn sessions might include a sign with baby's name or favorite books, toys, blankets, or outfits.
What if my baby is fussy?
My newborn sessions are relaxed, and there's always plenty of time for feedings, changings, and all the cuddles baby needs.
how do we purchase photos after our newborn session?
After you view your gallery, you'll choose your favorites and decide which collection of images you'd like. Purchase only what you love!
After purchase, you can download digital files from the gallery, share them directly to social media, and order professional-quality prints.
