As moms, we’re so often the ones behind the scenes—snapping the photos, wiping faces, soothing meltdowns or teen angst, answering endless questions. We pour so much into our families, but rarely end up in the photos ourselves.

I’ve experienced this myself—while making a graduation slideshow for my oldest last year, I realized I only had one photo of the two of us together since she was a toddler—and it hit me hard. That moment is the “why” behind these free Mother’s Day sessions. It’s my way of honoring everything moms do, along with making sure you get in the photo too—with your kids right there with you.

So on April 25-27 I’m offering FREE Front Yard Drop-In Sessions in a few Great Falls neighborhoods. These are simple, heartfelt portraits taken right in your front yard (or wherever the light is best outside your home). You’ll receive one free digital image, delivered in time for Mother’s Day, with the option to purchase more from your gallery.

These front yard drop-in sessions will be offered in the following neighborhoods:

• Eastside - North of 10th Ave S (east of 15th Street, between 8th Ave N & 10th Ave S)

• Eastside - South of 10th Ave S (from 1st St S to 48th St S)

• Riverview / Valley View / Skyview

• Fox Farm
