As moms, we’re so often the ones behind the scenes—snapping the photos, wiping faces, soothing meltdowns or teen angst, answering endless questions. We pour so much into our families, but we rarely end up in the photos ourselves.

I’ve been there myself. While making a graduation slideshow for my oldest a couple of years ago, I realized I only had one photo of the two of us together since she was a toddler—and it hit me hard.

That moment is the “why” behind these free Mother’s Day sessions. It’s my way of honoring everything moms do, along with making sure you get in the photo too—with your kids right there with you.
