A little about me
Hi, I’m Valerie!
I'm a mom of six who started photographing my own kids as a way to preserve the sweet moments in the midst of the chaos of raising my rowdy crew (#boymom of 5 here!). Now I’m passionate about capturing authentic & heartwarming photos for families in every stage of life.
Photographing kids and capturing their personality is one of my absolute favorite things to do! As an experienced mom, I have a few tricks up my sleeve for getting great photos of kids of all ages.
After all, some of the absolute best memories (and photos!) come when kids are just being themselves.

I use fun prompts and a bit of conversation when I photograph kids, helping them to relax, feel comfortable, and be themselves so I can capture their natural smiles and expressions.
While I can usually coax a smile out of most kids, some are more serious and I always respect their natural personality and don’t try to force smiles.
